Hi!

I'm Scott Fralin and I'm the Exhibit Curator and Learning Environments Librarian at the Virginia Tech Libraries. I have a B.A. in Classics from Virginia Tech and an M.S. in Infomation Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

The majority of the projects you see on here have been created as part of my job at Virginia Tech. Most of them are part of the Course Exhibit Initiative, which is a series of installations in Newman Library that feature the work of classes offered at Virginia Tech.

I begin each installation with a blank slate and work with our partners to design an installation that reflects the experience they would like to share. This is more work than having one or two predesigned installations and shoehorning content into them, but I think my bespoke approach results in a more effective installation.
